Technical Project Manager

Location: Hyderabad/Secunderabad

Job profile:
Experience in end user interaction to understand and prioritize requirements. Experience in prioritizing requirements/issues based on business priorities and driving Dev, QC, IT , Architecture etc. teams towards defined project milestones.

Desired profile:

• Engineering or Technical degrees preferred (BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech/M.Sc/MCA).
• Minimum 9+ years of work experience required.
• Must have traveled at least once to US and in a client interface role.
• Preferred would be 1 month’s notice at the current organization.
• Preferably should be holding a business visa.

Responsibilities:

• Has strong acumen to grasp complex business problems and translate into task based project deliverables.
• Should have handled projects at a Lead / Project Management level Must be comfortable with offshore project delivery.
• Should be able to guide the team in coding.
• Should be comfortable with traveling as this role might involve frequent but short duration trips to the client location.
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills.

Manage the project:

• Prepare the project plan in collaboration with the team members.
• Establish the project schedule.
• Identify both formal and informal team roles for each member of the team.
• Schedule team meetings.
• Assist the other members of the team in resolving problems.
• Help the individual members to make a contribution consistent with their skill level and work style.
• Make certain the team meets the schedule for deliverables and task milestones.
• Make certain that the team conducts the peer reviews on schedule.
• Organize the team presentations.
