Lead Engineer & SSE – iPhone Developer

Location: Hyderabad/Secunderabad

Job description: You will be part of the team developing next generation integrated mobile applications for various industry segments using a mix of server side and handset technologies. Typical technology mix will be a combination of objective C.

Desired profile:

• Engineering or Computers degree preferred (B.Tech/B.E.
• Any Specialization, Computers, Electrical, Electronics/Telecommunication).
• Minimum of 5+ years experience.
• Hands-on programming expertise in C, Objective-C, and Java.
• Developing, designing and implementing applications for iPhones and Mac OS using objective C and Quartz API.
• Ability to work on challenging iPhone projects.
• In-depth knowledge of iPhoneOS and iPhone SDK.
• Quatz and UI is Must.
• Programming experience with other mobile platforms: Windows Mobile Android, BlackBerry.
• Experience in product development environments and knowledge of tools such as Subversion, Trac etc is a plus
• Must have a strong interest in learning new skills/technologies and curiosity to explore various technologies and solution approaches.
• Proven analytical & problem solving skills.
• Engineering or Computers degree.
• Good communication skills and a team player.
• Willingness to travel overseas.

Responsibilities:

• Work with Architects to Develop the High Level Design.
• Develop the technical & project implementation plans.
• Take full ownership of the implementation plan.
• Deliver product features as per release schedule and quality expectations.
• Be an individual contributor (very hands on) as well as manage your team.
• Interact with prospective customers during product demos/evaluations.
• Enhance efficiency of dev/test/release process – develop tools, frameworks as required.
• Research & track developments in the mobile and application segments.
• Drive technology learning and provide mentorship to your teams.
• Participate in the full life-cycle development process from product definition, through design, development, test, release and maintenance.
